The opportunity to conduct his own compositions leads him to be interested in the wonderful world of orchestral conducting. Its repertoire is wide and brings together from the most laureate of universal masters to popular genres such as jazz, flamenco and Venezuelan traditional music amalgamated to the magical and enveloping sound of the symphony orchestra giving rise to spectacles and anthology events.
He has conducted the most recognized orchestras in Venezuela, such as the Simón Bolívar Symphony and Caracas Symphony Orchestra. His presence is required in the most important festivals in the country where he has premiered works by Latin American composers.
The last three years has been working with children and youth orchestras in Chicago area and as conductor of Lake County nuclei of the music program Sistema Ravinia, belonging to Reach, teach and Play, the educational branch of Ravinia Music Festival.
He has also collaborated as a woodwind coach with Interlochen Center for the Arts, and as conductor with schools and chamber music groups, including the Chicago Cosmopolitan Orchestra and the renowned violinist Rachel Barton Pine.
