La magia del llano venezolano nunca ha dejado de estar presente en mi música. El joropo, nuestra danza nacional, se me ha mostrado como un territorio de múltiples retos rítmicos y melódicos y como tal lo he explotado hasta la saciedad. Esta pieza compuestas en 2017 recrea de nuevo esta magia y la entreteje con la nostalgia del recuerdo de mi padre, de su memoria cien por ciento llanera y honestamente criolla en un amplio sentido. Con una dificultad avanzada para el instrumentista “Luna con joropo y viceversa” promete audacias y acrobacias extremas, sin abandonar lo dulce y la nostalgia de la tonada.

The magic of the Venezuelan plains has never ceased to be present in my music. The joropo, our national dance, has shown me as a territory of multiple rhythmic and melodic challenges and as such I have exploited it to the point of satiety. This piece composed in 2017 recreates this magic again and interweaves it with the nostalgia of my father´s memory, a hundred percent original and honest in a broad sense. With an advanced difficulty for the instrumentalist "Luna con joropo y viceversa" promises daring and extreme acrobatics, without abandoning the sweetness and the nostalgia of the “tonada”.
