“Sueño con mandarinas y viceversa” fue compuesta tal si fuera una pintura. Planos superpuestos, ritmo sobre ritmo, melodías y armonías amalgamadas que dan lugar luego a una superficie nueva, a una textura diferente. Como una revelación que rompe con todo lo anterior, así se plantea esta obra en respecto a mi discurso musical de aquellos años. Siempre partiendo de mi visión nacionalista en la utilización de material formal, rítmico y melódico “el sueño” se trastoca en una búsqueda continua de una audiencia imaginaria. Su brevedad se afianza en la profundidad del mensaje.

"Sueño con mandarinas y viceversa" was composed as if it was a painting. Superimposed plans, rhythm upon rhythm, melodies and amalgamated harmonies that give place to a new surface, a different texture. As a revelation that breaks with all of the above, this is what this work is about in my musical speech of those years. Always starting from my nationalistic vision in the use of formal, rhythmic and melodic material "the dream" is disturbed in a continuous search of an imaginary audience. Its brevity is strengthened in the depth of the message.
